This website does not offer opinion and does not take a position of being either pro or anti-wolf. It just posts citizen-reported wolf sightings, interactions and photos without interpretation. All information is verified to the best of our ability.

This website is completely educational and does not offer opinion and does not take a position of being either pro or anti-wolf. It just posts citizen-reported wolf sightings, interactions and photos without interpretation. All information is verified to the best of our ability, and donations are accepted equally from all organizations and individuals. Anyone who wants to use the information on this website to venture out into the woods to commune with the wolves unarmed has the same right to do so as the hunter who wants to use it to locate a good place to hunt. Each group can do so without infringing on the liberty of the other to do so. All photos are accepted. Cute and fuzzy wolf photos are accepted the same as the proud hunter, and will receive equal merit on the photo gallery page.

Sarah, what does the comment "you people" even mean? Concerned citizens tracking sightings of wolves is a bad thing? Pro wolf people could be using this information, so that makes them "you people". Statements like that single you out more than those you seem to be opposing. Instead of being part of the problem and creating a divide, why not step up and try to come to terms we can all agree on? Is that too difficult? Would you rather sit and complain?

Let the Pro wolf advocates come after me. I can defend myself with facts about how bad wolves really are to the ecosystems of the Rocky Mountains, first of all the Canadian Grey Wolf is not endangered in the Wilds of Canada and Alaska so therefore they are not endangered in the Northern Hemisphere. There are close to 66:000 candaian Grey Wolves in Camada and Alaska. so all these lies by the pro wolf people is BS.

People like you, Sarah, are horrible. You call yourself an animal rights activist, but you are species-specific. What about the dwindling populations of elk and moose? What about people’s pets and livestock? And I bet you don't even care about people’s children. Why don’t you spend your energy to start a movement to bring the wolves into your backyard where you can protect them instead of battling to keep them in our backyards?

Sarah....you may go after the supporters, but new ones will show up (like me). You may go and call a senator, but the truth is they don't give 2 shits about it. Like the others commented, the wolf is not an endangered species in North America. WE want to be informed of sightings of all kinds....CLEARLY you did not look at the entire website! Go away!

Sarah, Do you smell that smell? Oh man does it get my heart pumping! It's the smell of gunpowder and wolf blood in the morning. Soothing to the soul..........

Sarah, come out from behind your computer keyboard and lets have a face off. Most of the supporters of this page are outdoors men and women who have been fighting for conservation and for the habitat and preservation of animals and fish for many many years. To us conservation means protecting and preserving habitat and controlling the animals which includes ungulates, birds, fishes and predators. All animals and all the forests not just select ones. We are hunters and we choose to hunt and yes kill animals and predators in the most humane fashion we possibly can. As hunters that is who we are. you are seriously mislead if you think we just go out and slaughter your precious wolves just because we have spotted them and reported the sightings.

Very hard animal to hunt,I hear them and see their tracks and kills but seeing them is a different story. If humans were half as good of hunters as wolves, they would be in great danger. So rest assured, the wolf will not be eradicated.

I have often wondered what the people of New York city or any similar cities with a nice, big wolf free park would think and act if there was a pack of wolves transplanted unknowingly within the park.... And to make it interesting, throw in a grizzly bear and a mountain lion also. I bet the nature seekers, joggers, homeless, stray pets, old guys playing chess, kids playing, dog walkers would start turning up missing and/or have horror stories to tell.
